Current Projects

These are the current projects I’m working on, and I can’t bring them to life without your help. If you’d like to participate, please click the link to the volunteer form. If you have a thought-provoking idea or concept you’d like to see explored, send me an email — I welcome suggestions.  [email protected]

pur

no bra
no make-up
no styling
just pure

PUR is about stripping everything back to its essence. No make-up. No styling. No props. Just presence. Instead of rehearsed poses, the focus is on raw emotion and honest being. Age, body type, and size matter less — only the willingness, and being at peace with yourself. That is where the beauty of PURE lives.
Inspired by German minimalism and the work of a German photographer who goes by the name Lichtweisend (literally “light-guiding” in German).

on pointe

This project brings dancers into the city, exploring movement against the backdrop of steel, stone, and glass. Pointe shoes on pavement, grace in the midst of grit — each image is a dialogue between elegance and environment.  It could also be nudity in the studio or private public spaces.  The series captures both tension and harmony, asking what it means to carry poise and balance into unexpected places.

Volunteers for this project should have a background in dance, and be able to assume ballet poses or similar expressive movement.

ageless

“Ageless is about presence at midlife, whether alone, with lifelong friends, or in the surprising spark of a stranger.”

Ageless explores the beauty, power, traces and resilience of midlife and beyond. This series focuses on individuals as well as pairs or small groups, capturing the energy  between people who know each other well — and the unexpected dynamics that can arise between strangers. By bringing together women of different ages, sometimes midlife alongside youth, the project becomes a study in contrast and connection: how age shapes us, and how it does not define us.
Gather a group or volunteer with someone you know.

Juried Portfolio for the Barn Gallery, Ogunquit, ME

This project is being prepared for submission to a juried exhibition in Maine. I am trying to get accepted as an artist there.   It is a curated body of work exploring light, form, and presence through intimate portraitures in nature. Each image is chosen not just for its aesthetic value, but for the emotion it carries — quiet strength, vulnerability, or the fleeting expression that tells a deeper story. Volunteers who participate may find their portraits included in this professional portfolio, which is intended for public exhibition and gallery presentation.  You do not have to be from Maine, but ideally all shooting will take place in Maine.

behind the boudoir lens

This series turns the focus onto boudoir photographers themselves, inviting them to step in front of the camera.  In simple rawness or the intimate settings,of their own studios,  the observer becomes the observed — the one who directs light and pose now surrendering to it. The work explores vulnerability, trust, and the shared humanity between subject and artist.

Volunteers for this project will be able to use the credited images in their own marketing.

here

Breast cancer leaves scars. Often, the deepest scars are not the visible ones.

Here is raw, honest, and unflinching. It is less a celebration of survival than a clear moment of presence — about having stepped through to the other side. It is life, and what you decide to make of it.

This project is close to me because of my "daytime job" work with breast cancer through my massage and bodywork practice with clients, and teaching this important work to other therapists.
